Introduction of SRCA
SICS is project of SRCA. SRCA spend $ 110,000 on establishment
of these two latest Information Technology Institutions in
Kabul and Hirat where a large number of students are studying.
Saudi Relief Committee for Afghanistan (SRCA) was established
in Saudi Arabia by the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy
Mosques, King Fahad Bin Abdul Aziz, on 02/08/1422 H in order
to collect donations for the welfare of Afghan people. A
number of philanthropists welcomed the step and they donated a
large sum of money. To ensure the proper delivery of this huge
Relief, a Royal Decree was issued for the establishment of the
committee.
SRCA is a Saudi based relief organization working for the
welfare of Afghan people under the kind supervision of Prince
Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, the Interior Minister of Saudi Arabia.
Since from the inception, the committee is running a number of
Relief projects with its above stated goal. In addition to
this the committee is also supervising the activities of other
Saudi based Relief Organizations like International Islamic
Relief Organization (IIRO) and World Assembly of Muslim Youth
(WAMY).

Importance of SRCA
The existence of SRCA in the present circumstances is most
necessary for the war stricken people of Afghanistan because
their land has been turned barren, their houses have been
destroyed and almost each family has widows and orphans due to
the long terrible war. And when a large number of refugees
repatriated to their war stricken homeland, under the UN
repatriation program, the difficulties of the Afghan people
further increased as their houses had been destroyed and even
the basic requirements of life like food and pure drinking
water were not available in such quantity that full fill the
demand of the people. In such situations it was the religious
and moral responsibility of the Muslims to take positive steps
to help their Afghan brothers following this saying of the
Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) that: “Muslims in their
compassion and leniency among themselves like a unified body,
which responds to the complaint of any of its parts with fever
and insomnia”.
Goals & Objectives
The main goal of the committee is to ensure the proper
delivery of the Relief, collected from Saudi nationals, to
