Organization Trustee's Message

     To honor our pledge to play an effective role in spreading quality education and to face the challenges of new millennium, we are taking step forward in the field of Information Technology. The Saudi Institute of Computer Science, an institute of Saudi Relief Committee for Afghanistan is going to play a major role in dissemination of quality education in this field.

To keep pace with the fast developing world, Afghanistan with its ambitious Information Technology development plans is in need of state-of-the art infrastructure and highly qualified faculty to train the man power to meet the near future requirements of this field.

In view of the prevailing situation the Afghan government has evolved IT and Telecom policy that facilitates the private sector and seeks to remove barriers to introduction of new technologies. The SRCA Trust came up to share its responsibilities in this developing country.

The vast opportunities offered by the Information Technology and its branches like Internet. We are committed to quality education to develop high grade IT standard in Afghanistan.

Knowledge always remained synonymous with empowerment, but with advent of IT and its instrument, helping access to knowledge is quickly becoming a requirement for empowerment in all fields of life.

To conclude, I take this opportunity to renew our commitment to fortify and consolidate IT education to meet the needs of future.
